Designation SAP ABAP Senior Consultants
Job Description
At least 4 to 8 years of production grade experience with ABAP
Strong understanding of SAP architecture and development
Experience designing, implementing, and supporting.production grade software based on SAP ABAP including: BAPIs, Function, Workflow, LSMW, ALE and IDocs
Experience in working on various SAP modules like Sales and Distribution, Finance and Experience with Workflow, Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements and Forms
Solid knowledge of SAP Web Dynpro ABAP and ABAP framework and related tools
Strong experience with web based application technologies like Server side processing, Browser rendering – HTML, JavaScript, AJAX, CSS, Web Server
Experience defining standards, patterns, and reusable architectures
Experience with enterprise level development including application security, navigation, data locking, performance, internationalization
Experience delivering objected oriented, maintainable, extensible and scalable design
Experience creating high level and detail design documentation Experience identifying and resolving application performance issues
Experience creating flow charts, sequence diagrams, component/class diagrams and logical/physical data models
Agile Experience is a must.
Desired Profile
Ability to drive the development process and ensure compliance of project standards and deliverables
Develop High level and detail estimates for work packages defined
Provide guidance of Workflow strategy and object oriented programming using ABAP.
Drive the consistent use of ABAP and WDA frameworks across all developments
Perform code reviews and technical design reviews
Performance analysis of ABAP code and suggest techniques for optimization
Build prototypes to be used as models for repeatable implementation
Ensure consistent understanding of standards, design, tools, and implementation of functionality across developers
Drive the design and implementation of common reusable components for navigation, CRUD, internationalization, user interface, security, and help integration
Define development requirements for the technical architecture team including tools, environment, configuration, and system landscape
Review functional specifications and provide feedback for content and structure
Controlling, Materials Management, Human Capital Management and Customer Relationship Management
Acted as a technical lead for at least 5 SAP implementations that included custom development using the SAP Netweaver development platform.
Ability to create development plans and project schedules
Ability to architect enterprise and global application designs including multi-language capabilities
