Designation SR SAP Consultant ( Skills in HANA & DATA SERVICES)
Job Description
Position summary This is a key position for SAP Basis support for projects and ongoing maintenance of existing systems. The position is based in Bangalore working closely with counterparts in San Jose and providing support for global teams. The candidate is expected to be self-driven, take complete ownership of responsibilities and and be an effective communicator. Responsibilities
Provide Basis support for: HANA, Data Services, BOE and SLT systems as part of the Customer 360 project
In addition provide Basis Support for: ECC, BW, CRM, Licensing XI, Portal, GTS and PMM systems as part of other projects.
Provide Oracle support focusing on database administration, performance tuning, systems refreshes, backups, infrastructure and standards for the various SAP environments at Adobe.
Handle SAP Basis administration and technical core competencies tasks including SAP software installation, upgrade, applying Support Packages, installation add-on software components, SAP profile parameter changes, workload analysis, system error analysis and establishing standard Basis background jobs and system health checks and monitoring.
Maintain multi-landscape environments through remote copies, system refreshes, and transport management.
Participate in technical projects across multiple teams.
Requirements
Bachelors Degree or a combination of education and equivalent experience
5+ years of hands on experience with SAP Basis Administration.
Hands on experience with Netweaver 2004S or higher
Hands on experience with BOE 3.x or 4.0 and Data Services 3.x or 4.0
Strong Oracle DBA technical skills in an SAP environment
Strong AIX Operating System Admin technical skills
Experience with ABAP Based SAP systems such as ECC 6.0, BI 7.0, CRM 5.0 and 5.2, GTS 7.0 and XI 7.0
Experience with JAVA Based SAP systems such as Enterprise Portal 7.0 and LMS 6.0
Completion of several full lifecycle implementations
Solid verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Experience with Solution Manager and SLD recommended.
Experience with supporting SAP systems on Windows platform recommended.
Strong team building skills, with ability to build quick and effective work rapport with others.
A high standard for work ethic and quality.
Knowledge of infrastructure process & procedures.
Required work experience 8 - 12 years
