SAP Business ByDesign™ Solution: TUV-Approved Quality

SAP Business ByDesign solution for midsize companies has been recertified by the German technical inspection body TÜV as a "TÜViT Trusted Product SOA." TÜViT, the IT branch of TÜV Nord, audited the current feature pack 2.0 and certified that the new features meet the requirements of service-oriented architecture (SOA).

In addition to the technical SOA implementation, the "TÜViT Trusted Product SOA" assessment also takes into consideration aspects such as service enablement, business architecture and system deployment, as well as quality of the software and underlying quality assurance concept. The extensive inspection catalog is based on SOA guidelines from SAP and the requirements profile of the SOA experts at TÜViT. In 2007, SAP was the first company in Germany to receive the SOA certification from TÜViT for SAP Business ByDesign.
