Job Description
Review system generated service alerts daily.
Review actual inventory movement vs. forecast to proactively react to trends.
Proactively communicate to planners on shortages that cannot be covered.
Maintain inventory levels at all within expected tolerances.
Adjust deployment requisitions to assure a smooth and steady flow of product
Use Key Performance Indicator's (KPI's) to gain knowledge and understanding of business and distribution network. These include case-fill, repositioning, mode mix, etc.
Understand key drivers of KPIs to be able to explain variances in performance.
Identify and document products or situations that could result in major service disruptions weekly.
Maintain regular communication with Deployment Team Lead.
Assist Deployment Team Lead in developing the annual safety stock inventory strategies.
Understand basic settings in SAP/APO that drive system performance. Communicate recommendations regarding system issues with Deployment Team Lead.
Review age management reporting to proactively react to changing inventory levels and reduce associated costs
