| Job Description | Join Finance Strategy & Transformation of Financial Expertise as a senior subject matter expert on areas impacting Supply Chain Finance. This includes inventory and cost accounting, intercompany, logistics, freight, returns, and accounts payable processes. This dynamic individual will be a key program partner to other organizations including Supply Chain Transformation, Logistics, Business Unit and Regional Operations and Finance, Controllership, EFR, Tax, and GBS organizations. This is a challenging opportunity requiring you to identify requirements, design solutions, make decisions, and influence business support of Supply Chain Finance objectives. In this role, you will serve as a financial systems and process subject matter expert to ensure new models adhere to a global baseline. You will also assist in business process and systems design and re-engineering efforts, and be engaged in projects involving development and deployment of SAP enterprise and other automated accounting systems and solutions.
Responsibilities will include:
Ensure compliance with AFM, GAAP, and HP Tax strategies
Provide leadership & guidance to team members
Drive process improvements that meet business requirements and eliminate inefficiencies
Support all project lifecycle phases of business and finance initiated projects, as Process Lead
Serve as finance lead for global design and as horizontal focal to Business Units and Regional teams
Understand regional business drivers and priorities to translate into requirements
Ensure all corporate and organizational IT and Business policies are adhered to
Set-up and lead proper checkpoints and management reviews
Manage process resources across multiple global projects / tasks
Ensure quality and high standards are maintained at all times
Induct and coach new members of the team as necessary |
| Desired Profile | Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance
CPA and MBA is preferred
Minimum 5-7 years working with SAP: CO, FI, SD, & MM modules. Previous experience in SAP ERP application migrations and/or deployments.
Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Oracle Transportation Management systems (OTM) a plus.
In depth knowledge of HP Financial Systems and Processes preferred Flexibility to engage across regional time zones
Virtual/Global project team experience related to financial systems design
Initiative and independence, ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Able to interface comfortably, communicate clearly and concisely, and motivate individuals or groups within all levels of the organization
