Role description
Responsibility: Conducts a wide range of quality-control tests and analyses to ensure that software meets or exceeds specified standards and end-user requirements o Executes tests according to established plans and scripts o Documents problems in an issue log, and retests software corrections to ensure problems are resolved o Creates test data files with valid and invalid records to thoroughly test program logic and verify system flow o Drafts and revises test plans and scripts. o Identifies, recommends and implements changes to enhance the effectiveness of quality assurance strategies o Assists in planning and scheduling testing o Participate in status and defects meetings o Communicate with developers to assist in issue/defect resolutions o Responsible for executing and analyzing results of automated tests o Reporting status
