• Any Graduate preferably IT background

• Experience of min 2-3 years in procurement. Must have handled commercial transactions.

Job Description

• The person should be well versed with IT Procurement ( Local & Import ) of Computer peripherals, software, applications, technology solutions etc.

• Should have experience, in driving cost reduction for the company.

• Awareness of Indian marker/suppliers and a good technical background is a key.

• Candidate should have handled procurement operations independently with ownership on driving supplier selection, negotiations, purchase order management, contracts negotiation, supplier management, experience of working in an integrated SAP environment.

• Ensure meeting of timelines assigned to each step of procurement for successful completion

• Liaison with external vendors for receiving quotations and other details such as delivery schedules & payment terms

• Prepare Comparison sheet and negotiate on terms with Vendors

• Ensure Approval Notes are prepared with proper documentation

• Generating Purchase Order in SAP , Delivery , Payment etc

• Submit copies of Purchase Orders to Finance department for initiating payment processes like LC, Advance etc

• Prepare and generate MIS reports such as Monthly report of PO details which is Process wise, Equipment wise, Payment Term wise; Purchase Order Released; Capex documents; Payments received and pending; Provide necessary inputs to Asset team and Duty Managers for all the Purchase Orders placed and deliveries received

• Handle, control and manage vendors to achieve successful procurement cycle completion .
